I started my professional career in the Insurance sector after completing my MBA. I started as a Relationship Associate and over the course of years, worked with many reputed brands in the Insurance & Banking sectors. I had my last assignment with IndusInd Bank, Chandigarh, as Assistant Vice President. It was a wonderful journey and I had my share of experiences & learning too.
During the course of past years, my professional and personal lives kept changing simultaneously. While there was lots happening on the professional front, I got married to a wonderful human being and together, along with our daughter, we created a beautiful family.
Seasons changed and so did I. I evolved into a new person. Motherhood brought about a change in perspective towards life and it took dominance over my professional life. Every moment spent with my little bundle of joy created a new meaning of life for me. I started enjoying life with my daughter with a realization of being a responsible and caring mother who should be available for her for all her needs, moments and significant milestones of life. With every passing moment, a new chapter was being written. Some good and some not so good. Each of these memories have been engraved in my mind and inner soul and have changed me as a person, have transformed me from a workaholic 9 to 9 professional to a responsible and holistic human being with a broader objective towards life.
Always known for and appreciated for my creativity, I soon began penning my thoughts and found a new way of expressing myself. Writing became a new passion for me. It was a hidden talent that I was not aware of until now. At the same time, I got exposed to the spiritual world. From practicing yoga excessively to reading about the Bhagavad Gita and the Ramayana, I soon began looking at life from a spiritual perspective. My learnings came out in the form of my poems and blogs. Yoga helped me walk the spiritual path. It strengthened me mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually. It brought about a complete balance in my life. Seeing the transformation in my own self, I decided to give it a professional touch with an objective of turning my spiritual journey into my profession. I realized there was enough to be shared with the public in large in terms of the various spiritual dimensions of life.
