Dice rolls again
You move 5 spaces ahead
Before you can celebrate your jumper lead
Somebody else moves 10 spaces ahead
And you blabber in your imaginary head
Dice rolls again
You get a ladder
As you enjoy the moment of flatter
You get ignorant of others platter
Without realizing that all this is a temporary matter
Dice rolls again
You are about to get all the limelight
But a harsh snake bite
And you trail from sky light to dark night
Only to realize you have to start all over again
Without any guiding light
Dice rolls again
But this time you are a better person
You move ahead & celebrate others too
You get a ladder but you concentrate in filling others platter
You face bites and harshness
But you keep smiling in darkness
As you reach the moment of limelight & finish your struggle
It slips from your hand just like a bubble
And that’s exactly when you realize
Beauty is in the journey…
Not in the destination!
A poem beautifully capturing the essence of life.
Beautiful explanation of the way life actually is….
That’s the order of the Nature. It revolves and evolves tirelessly ever.
Main samay hoon.
So the enjoyment is in the journey and not the destination.
Rightly said.
Very nice 👍
