When It’s All Over…

Young heart, “What will you do

If you are next on bed?”

I shall fear losing my loved ones

I ll reach a place where ego, power, money, enemies ll become meaningless

I shall lose pace of life which ll create a void

But I ll lift my heart & pray for one more chance.

Young heart, “What will you do,

If it’s your last post?”

I shall be cold and weak

With dim spirits and grim smile

I shall be full of gratitude for having people around,

To cheer me & support me

In journey so beautiful & bright.

Young heart, “What will you do,

If life dismisses you?”

I shall walk the memory lane

Being a carefree child & playing around

To an adult who lost twinkle & shine

I shall regret for all my misdoings,

And smile on my good heart which was many a times kind.

Young heart, “What will you do,

When it’s all over?”

I shall go out across the road, feel the breeze & nature I ignored

And thank God for this beautiful new chance

Perhaps, enjoy every small moment of life

Live in present & forget worrying about unpredictable flow of life

Where love will replace money,

And compassion to all will be a part of my story.
